BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF SKOCJAN CAVES, SLOVENIA

This small country is a big attraction. Slovenia has become a tourism magnet that can easily be reached using all forms of transport. The Skocjan caves are another highlight of the karst landscape. The uniqueness of this cave system prompted UNESCO to include it in the list of world natural inheritance sites. Skocjan Caves have a breathtaking views.

The paths for visitors are built into the steep walls which are about 100 metre high in some places. Underground rivers spanned by bridges roar through mysterious canyons. Outside the caves in the Skocjanske Caves Park a variety of historical museums and unusual flora await the interested visitors.

The underground canyon with the river running through it, crossed by a bridge 45 metres high is something quite special. With fewer tourists than some of the more well-known caves, this is definitely worth visiting. Don’t forget to take a jacket, as it can be cold in parts, particularly in winter.

White Tigers

Beautiful Rare White Tigers'

The tiger there is a known mutation that leads to the appearance of individuals with a full white color - Bengal Tigers with black and brown stripes on a white fur and blue eyes. This color is very rare in wild animals, but is relatively common in populations kept in captivity.

The frequency of occurrence of white tigers - one individual per 10,000 with normal color. White tigers are an excellent breed in captivity. The first mention of them belong to 1951, when one of the hunters took away from the den of the tigress he found a white tiger cub.

The Melissani Cave Lake

The Melissani Cave Lake, located near Kefalonia, Greece, was a hidden treasure up until the roof of the cave collapsed after an earthquake in 1953. The mystical sky-blue lake, surrounded by a thick forest, is its most charming in July and August when sunlight pervades the area, changing the color of the water and reflecting it on the surrounding walls.

Angel Falls

Angel Falls - The Highest Waterfall in the World

Angel Falls is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall with the height of 979 m (3,212 ft), with a plunge of 807 m (2,647 ft). It is located in the highlands of Guyana Canaima National Park, in the Gran Sabana region of Bolivar State, Venezuela in South America. The height of the falls is so great near the ground and there are no roads leading to the waterfall.
